Berg-Townsend said she is most proud of the ruling in the Peters v. Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (Cintas Corp.) case. “This unanimous decision overturned several lower courts’ opinions that unfairly held that a traveling employee was no longer in the course and scope of employment while driving home from a work-sponsored event. In this Supreme Court case, we were able to solidify the rights of traveling employees at the state’s highest court, ultimately obtaining a great result for our client.”
