Anne Carroll has been dean of the College of Business at Kutztown since July 2017. She previously chaired the Finance and Economics Department at Rider University. She served as interim dean of the College of Business Administration at Rider from 2014-2015 and as associate dean of the college from 2011-2014.
Carroll was with Rider since 1986 when she joined the faculty as an instructor in finance. During her tenure, she was responsible for the creation of several new undergraduate programs. She is credited at Rider for creating joint degree programs between Rider and Shanghai University, China, and the Centre d’Études Franco-Américain de Management, Lyon, France. Carroll co-founded the Rider Women’s Leadership Council, a group of alumnae who provide mentoring and special programming for current students.
One of four colleges at Kutztown, the College of Business prepares students for the rigors of the marketplace or the demands of graduate education. The college offers undergraduate programs in business administration and leisure and sport studies as well as a Master of Business Administration degree.
The college is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It is home to the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center and the Latino Business Development Center.
