Lehigh Valley Business: How long has Puritan Products been operating in the Greater Lehigh Valley and what are its primary services?

Donna Long: Puritan Products has been in business since November of 1987. The company started in West Easton and moved to Allentown in 1990. In 1998, it moved to its current location in Bethlehem. The current location is 50,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.

We are ISO 9001:2008 certified, current good manufacturing practices compliant, FDA [U.S. Food and Drug Administration] registered and FDA audited/inspected.

We manufacture and package chemicals and chemical blends. Our core products are acids: hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, hydrofluoric acid and phosphoric acid. Bases: ammonium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide solutions. Solvents: Isopropyl alcohol, heptane, acetone, formaldehyde, xylene, hydrogen peroxide. Salts: biological buffer salts … .
