Bethlehem firm expands with Texas Web solution acquisition

Active Data Exchange has been providing online calendar management solutions for education, health care, government and corporate organizations since 1999. The acquisition should help boost the customer base of Active Data Exchange.
“It’s a pretty mature solution. It’s been around for a long time,” said Susan Yee, CEO of Active Data Exchange. “The WebEvent solution perfectly complements our core competency, which is offering our customers the most complete master calendar solutions on the market.”
WebEvent solution users will continue to use their existing software; however, Active Data Exchange will provide service and support, contract renewals, communications, upgrades and new product offerings.
Yee said Active Data Exchange is in a period of strong growth. It acquired another firm last year and will be introducing a new product in the fourth quarter of this year.
