Bethlehem‘s BSI Corporate Benefits has promoted its COO to a newly created position of chief people officer.
The company said the new role for Valerie Lewis is aimed at reinforcing the firm’s commitment to its people, culture, and long‑term growth strategy.
As BSI continues to expand, it said that the creation of the chief people officer role reflects the firm’s belief that its people are its greatest competitive advantage.
In this position, Lewis will lead organizational culture, leadership development, talent strategy, and employee engagement to ensure the BSI team is equipped to grow and deliver exceptional results for clients.
The CPO role is designed to align BSI’s business and talent strategies. Lewis will oversee organizational development, workforce planning, leadership coaching, employee experience, performance management, and cultural alignment.
Her work will ensure that growth initiatives are supported by scalable processes, strong communication, and a values‑driven environment that attracts and retains top talent.
