Northampton County’s Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and Lehigh University, Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are bringing the Meet the Buyers Expo to local business owners on Sept. 23.
The event is designed to bring together major corporations, small businesses, and community partners to explore opportunities for collaboration and growth.
The Expo provides an environment where participants can engage with key decision-makers, seek innovative solutions, and gain practical insights to strengthen their organizations.
Organizers said the event will benefit small businesses, large businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, procurement professionals, business development teams, sales teams, and business owners.
At the expo, attendees can also take advantage of the Small Business Resource Fair, offering direct access to valuable resources including mentoring, coaching, workforce personnel solutions, training, small business loans and lines of credit, education, marketing, networking, retail vacancy information and business and marketing planning.
“Northampton County is committed to supporting small businesses and strengthening our local economy,” said Northampton County Executive Lamont G. McClure. “The Meet the Buyers Expo and Resource Fair create real opportunities for growth by connecting entrepreneurs with the tools and partnerships they need to succeed.”
The expo will be held at the Lehigh Valley International Airport. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Networking begins at 9:00 a.m., and the event runs until 12:00 p.m.
