The and Economic Development Corp. is launching a new program to help provide business attire for those entering or reentering the workforce.

“In Style for Success” is being organized by the Women in Business Committee with the help of a number of other organizations including Trinity Lutheran Church in Lehighton, Wear it Again in Jim Thorpe and a number of corporate sponsors.

The program does not have a start date yet, but will provide women and men in need with professional attire for job interviews and specific necessary for employment or training.

The program will also provide accessories, shoes, ties and additional services where needed.

Some of the funding is being provided by proceeds from the Carbon County Women in Business 2019 Luncheons and other events.

For anyone who knows someone who might need professional clothing assistance, applications are now being made available at the CCEDC office as well as online at carboncountychamber.org/committees and at area churches, including the Trinity Lutheran Church Thrift Store in Lehighton.
