CareerLink to hold ‘Get a Job Day’ throughout the Lehigh Valley

PA CareerLink Lehigh Valley will participate in Get a Job Day, a statewide initiative to link employers to potential workers.
The event will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the five Lehigh Valley CareerLink locations and at participating employer sites.
Employers participating in the event include QVC, FedEx Ground, Blue Triton/Nestle, Fanatics, SOLTECH, and Mack Trucks.
At CareerLink’s main site at 555 Union Blvd., in Allentown, jobseekers will have access to onsite job assistance and participate in hourly virtual workshops. Workshops include such topics as resume writing, understanding online job searching and interviewing tips and trends.
Participants can also visit the professional attire boutique at the Union Blvd. location.
