The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce has appointed Denise Maiatico as vice president of Public Policy & External Affairs.
With more than 30 years of experience in the Lehigh Valley business community, Maiatico is best known for her position as regional vice president at Meyer Jabara Hotels, where she led local efforts to open and manage multiple hotel properties.
She also worked as an adjunct professor at Northampton Community College for over a decade.
In her new role at the Chamber, Maiatico will lead efforts in shaping business development and advocating for policies that support economic growth in the Valley. She will work closely with government officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders to ensure the Chamber’s public policy initiatives remain impactful, inclusive, and forward-thinking.
“I’m excited to continue serving the Lehigh Valley business community by expanding relationships and facilitating meaningful conversations that educate and advocate for policies and initiatives that benefit our local businesses and neighborhoods,” said Maiatico. “My goal is to build on the Chamber’s strong foundation in public policy and help ensure the Lehigh Valley remains the preferred place for businesses and communities to thrive—both professionally and personally.”
