Barrett manages the promotion of the Poconos as a four-season destination, including a marketing, sales and membership staff and five visitor centers in four counties. He is also the face of the bureau, appearing in TV commercials and public service announcements as well as on the destination’s own Pocono Television Network.
“When the pandemic hit, the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau pivoted to provide the community with assistance with everything from crisis funding to messaging in order to help flatten the curve and keep our guests, residents and employees safe with the wildly successful Pocono Promise program that hundreds of businesses adopted,” he said.
Barrett is a lover of all things history, including documentaries about ancient civilizations and period dramas. He enjoys working on his vintage vehicle and spending time with his children.
