Commissioner and Board Chair
Berks County Commissioners
Leinbach helps oversee more than 2,300 employees providing a variety of services to Berks County residents. He has held his role since 2008.
“Berks enjoys the highest bond rating in our history because of a consistent commitment to fiscal responsibility,” he said. “Our bond rating increased three times since 2008 and is currently AAA+ rating, the highest rating possible. We controlled our spending, keeping it well under inflation. We owe that to our taxpayers.”
He relaxes by gardening and hiking.
“I love gardening; planning, planting, harvesting and preserving the harvest,” he said. “My favorite place to hike is the Appalachian Trail and especially the Pinnacle in Albany Township in Berks County. A hike to the Pinnacle is rewarded with a spectacular view.”
