A licensed agent for 22 years, Raad began going on real estate appointments with his dad when he was a toddler. “My grandfather started our firm, which has served the Lehigh Valley since 1962,” he said. “There is nothing is more powerful or rewarding than assisting in the purchase or sale of a client’s home or business, which makes being a Realtor the greatest profession on the planet.”
Raad said he was humbled to be elected 2021 president of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, 2015 president of the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors, and chosen a 2016 40 Under 40 honoree by Lehigh Valley Business. “However, becoming the third-generation owner of our family business has been the highlight.”
As for advice, “I’m a big believer that every challenge in life ultimately reveals lessons to be learned, and by embracing uncomfortable situations [we] can cultivate growth that pays exponential dividends,” he said. “I’ve always tried to remain focused and organized, maintain a positive attitude with a sense of humor, and surround myself with great people.”
Raad and his wife, Gretchen, also a Realtor, have a 2-year-old daughter, Stella. “Family is my heart.” He enjoys spending time with them, other close family and friends. “Traveling was a huge passion of ours pre-COVID,” he said, “and I am looking forward to getting back to our family trips that are now plus one.”
