Ciocca Automotive is comprised of 53 dealerships across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with several dealerships located within the Lehigh Valley. According to the company website, Founder Gregg Ciocca “brought his first car for $700 dollars and sold it for a profit that he immediately turned over to his mother.”
“I was literally working from my mother’s garage and we didn’t have a lot of room to hold the cars, so we had to move them out. My first used-car lot was in Southampton near Churchville Auto Body, and then I found another in Plumsteadville,” the company stated on behalf of Ciocca on its website.
40 years later, Ciocca Automotive employs over 2,000 staff members, Ciocca’s sons are involved in the business and the 53 dealerships earn approximately $2 billion in annual sales.
“We have a lot of great people here,” Ciocca stated on the company website. “Our business philosophy is based on a four-legged stool: employee satisfaction = customer satisfaction + manufacturer relationship = success. It all starts with our associates…Our goal has always been that this will remain a family business.”
