Da Vinci Science Center begins national search for new CEO

Allentown’s announced Friday that it has launched a national search for its next CEO. 

The organization’s current leader, Lin Erickson, executive director and CEO of Da Vinci Science Center, will be retiring in June after more than 20 years of leadership. 

The education center said in a release that its next CEO will play a key role in guiding the Science Center’s ongoing work to provide meaningful STEM learning experiences, strengthen partnerships, and serve families, educators, and students throughout the region. 

“As we look ahead, we are focused on ensuring strong leadership for the organization and a thoughtful approach to the future,” said Daniel Bosket, chair of the board of trustees. “We are seeking a leader who understands our mission, values collaboration, and can help the Science Center continue to evolve in support of the community.” 

The has formed a Search Committee to lead the process and will review applications and nominations on a rolling basis. The committee will work carefully to identify a CEO who can provide steady leadership and help position the organization for long-term stability and impact.
