A major challenge today is the supply of accounting talent is not sufficient to meet the demand of business growth, he explained. “… On an ongoing basis, we’re closely reviewing and updating our compensation and benefits structure in support of recruitment and retention – increasing initial salary offers and providing market leading raises/bonuses for current team members amid staff shortages and record turnover. As CEO, I am aware that rising wages will only partially address the recruiting challenges facing the accounting profession … .
