Diversification and good people.
Diversification and good people.
That is the formula that helped NAI Keystone Commercial & Industrial LLC in Wyomissing to not only survive but thrive through economic downturns.
“I believe … we’ve gotten through rough economic times and continue to grow is [because of] the people we have here at NAI Keystone and being diversified — that we’re not concentrated in one sector of commercial real estate,” said Bryan Cole, a principal at NAI.
“Being as diversified as we have been in the past, and continuing to be, allows us to ride the market both ways, up and down.”
It has been a successful run for NAI Keystone, which opened in 2001 and is part of a managed global network of real estate brokerage firms through NAI Global.
The first three letters of the acronym in the network name stand for New America International. NAI Keystone specializes in all aspects of commercial and industrial real estate, including selling, leasing, property management, property evaluations and receivership.
Steve Willems is managing principal. Cole joined after finishing a career with the U.S. Marines in 2004.
Their coverage area generally is Berks County, sometimes expanding into other counties, depending on client needs. Cole noted there are seven different NAI firms in Pennsylvania.
“Since we’re are a managed network, we own and operate, but we’re also part of a much bigger organization that has 6,700 local market experts and 375 offices around the world,” Willems said.
“We’re in a tertiary market, and that forces us to be multiple disciplined and hit the market at all levels.”
