East Penn names new CEO and president in leadership shift

With the pending retirement of its president and CEO, Co. is restructuring its team to have separate roles for the positions of CEO and president.  

Starting Sept. 29, Pete Stanislawczyk will be promoted to CEO and will be promoted to the company’s President. At that same time, , 63, will retire as president and CEO and will serve as the executive chairman of East Penn’s Board. 

Stanislawczyk will be promoted from his current role as executive vice president and chief commercial officer.   

In his new role, he will oversee the company’s operations and commercial areas of the business, which includes and distribution, engineering, sales, and marketing as well as serve on the East Penn Board of Directors.

Weeber will be promoted from her current role as executive vice president and chief financial officer.   

In her new role, she will oversee finance, legal, personnel, and IT as well as serve on the East Penn Board of Directors.  

Pruitt has been East Penn’s president/CEO for 11 years and has been with the company for over 31 years holding numerous financial positions including CFO. 

 “It has been a true honor to serve as President and CEO for the last eleven years,” said Pruitt. “I have high expectations for the future of the company. Pete and Christy will carry on the legacy and mission of East Penn alongside of a very accomplished management team and the full support of the Founding Family.”
