A native of Easton, Shaughnessy said he has been representing residents of the region in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 1988.
That includes people who have suffered serious injuries from vehicle crashes, property defects, workplace accidents, product failures, civil rights violations and catastrophic medical malpractice.
Shaughnessy Law Offices has achieved numerous successful jury verdicts and settlements; those involving sexual abuse victims and children have been personally rewarding, he said. “Our firm’s particular interests in head injury and concussion cases are likewise work from the heart of which we are particularly proud.”
Shaughnessy said he enjoys reading historical fiction, traveling, swimming, yoga and photography. “These pursuits help enlarge my worldview and perspective on life.” He also serves as board president of the Greater Easton Development Partnership Inc., board member of Safe Harbor homeless shelter and executive committee member of the Easton Industrial Land Development Co.
