Bethlehem, Northampton County-based The Arc of Lehigh and Northampton Counties announced that CEO Karen Shoemaker plans to retire, effective Sept. 1, 2024. She has been CEO since 1999 and has more than 38 years of management experience in nonprofit disability organizations.
The Salvation Army Reading Citadel Corps in Berks County named Lts. Hector Cid and Melissa Lopez city coordinators of Reading.
