Levan is a full-service machine shop and custom fabricator which handles equipment such as snowplows, spreaders, lift gates and central hydraulic systems, in addition to general truck maintenance.
The $800,000, 8,000-square-foot building will have six service bays. It will be a production facility that will allow Levan to increase van and truck up-fittings and provide quicker turnaround times for customers.
The building will be at 3404 Pricetown Road in Fleetwood, across from Levan’s existing shop.
DESCCO also is the designer.
Other Berks County companies involved in the project include:
Watkins Architect LTD, Fleetwood; Berks Surveying, Fleetwood; Earl F. Kegerise Inc., Fleetwood; Schatz Electric Inc., Robesonia; Fenstermacher Construction Services Inc., Kutztown; M&A Excavating, Mertztown; Ronnie C. Folk Paving, Shoemakersville; and S & S Structures Inc., Blandon.
The construction is expected to be completed by the end of March.
