Free training on COVID-19 safety offered at Northampton Community College
Cris Collingwood//May 17, 2022
Northampton Community College is offering free webinars for health care workers and employers on the dangers of COVID-19 in the workplace on June 14.
The webinars came from the Occupational Safety & Health Administration’s (OSHA) vow to continue to vigorously enforce general standards it has adopted to help protect health care employees from the dangers of COVID-19, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection standards, the college said.
The free training, COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard, will be held over Zoom from 8 a.m. to noon for health care employers and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for health care workers.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals successfully completing a course will be eligible for continuing education hours.
