As President & CEO, Nahodil said his most important role is acting as a servant leader for the credit union’s members, associates and communities. In partnership with Members 1st’s Leadership Team, Board of Directors and nearly 1,100 associates, he is focused on new initiatives, smarter technologies and additional branch locations to enhance the member experience.
Nahodil has served as president & CEO for 4.5 years. Previously he was the executive vice president of retail delivery, PR and marketing at Members 1st for 17 years.
“I am humbled to be part of a team that has grown Members 1st from $1.9B in assets to over $6 billion in assets and more than half a million members strong,” he said. “I feel fortunate to serve as president & CEO of such a wonderful organization with a mission to serve through support, empowerment and meaningful relationships.”
An important life lesson he has learned is that simply being kind and empathetic can help you achieve success in life. “There are often times when you can become discouraged by people’s actions, but if you go back to the golden rule, it can truly make a difference,” said Nahodil.
In Nahodil’s free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends above all. He loves traveling, exploring new places, swimming and hiking.
