Since July 2014, I am the CEO of the business school at Lehigh University. We have 90 faculty and 45 staff. I have both strategic and bottom–line responsibility for the entire operation.
The growth in stature, visibility and prominence of Lehigh business stands out most. Also, we are breaking ground on our new building for which I raised money.
A valuable lesson: Listen first, act second.
I am a lifelong musician and love all types of music. I sing in several vocal groups (at least I did pre-COVID) and I play the cello. Music releases my soul; it calms as it excites. I enjoy the physiological aspects of performance where my body and mind must be 100% present.
