Health Network Laboratories opened a new walk-in site in Whitehall Township, the company announced.
The lab at 2409 MacArthur Road is one of more than 60 HNL walk-in laboratories throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The Whitehall lab is open weekdays (6 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and weekends (7 to 11 a.m.).
No appointments are necessary. Wait times typically average 15 minutes or less.
HNL recently opened a School of Phlebotomy at its headquarters in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, to meet a growing need for more health care professionals who are trained to draw blood and collect specimens for laboratory testing.
HNL is owned by the hospitals of Lehigh Valley Health Network and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation. Phoebe Devitt Homes is a limited partner.
