Allentown-based HNL Lab Medicine opened a patient service center at the Lehigh Valley Health Network Health Center in Pennsburg.
The LVHN Health Center opened last week at 101 W. 7th St.
“HNL remains committed to the health and well-being of residents in and around the Lehigh Valley, and we continue to expand patient access to laboratory testing in the region,” said Jessica Bargilione, director of marketing for HNL Lab Medicine.
“We are proud to now offer a patient service center in Pennsburg, with plans underway to grow our network locally and beyond,” she said.
In addition to offering a full-range of testing and related services, HNL Lab Medicine plays an ongoing role in the region’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, having processed nearly 500,000 COVID-19 specimens in 2021.
At HNL Lab Medicine’s new Pennsburg location, no appointments are needed and wait times are typically less than 15 minutes. Patients can check-in online through HNL Lab Medicine’s website, www.hnl.com/Locations.
Most tests are completed within 24 hours after reaching HNL’s laboratory in Lehigh Valley, HNL Lab Medicine said in a press release.
Patients can get test results through MyHNLAccess, a free patient portal accessed on computers, smartphones or other mobile devices, the company said.
HNL Lab Medicine offers self-pay options for patients without insurance or for those who participate in high-deductible health plans. The company also accepts all insurance plans, the statement said.
The lab is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
