Keystone Fabricating Inc.

Located in Bethlehem, Keystone Fabricating has been providing precision custom sheet metal fabrication since 1979. According to its website, the company serves customers throughout the United States, providing custom fabrication of sanitary stainless steel for a variety of industries including electrical, pharmaceutical, process equipment, computer, and food service.

Beverly Vogt serves as president of the company, overseeing 28 full-time employees. Keystone Fabricating is 100% woman-owned and has been family-owned for its tenure. Keystone Fabricating is an SBA and WBENC-certified business.

The company states it is, “a one-stop shop with the ability to manufacture anything from prototypes to long runs. Our quality control programs ensure that every product is delivered on time and exceeds our customer’s expectations.”

Keystone Fabricating is housed in a 28,000-square-foot manufacturing space located in Bethlehem. According to its website, Keystone Fabricating boasts a “commitment to customizing and meeting our customer’s needs is our top priority.”

Founded in 2014, Keystone Farms and Cheese was created by Nikole Raskovic after many visits to see family in Wisconsin. Feeling that Pennsylvania lacked the quality and taste Raskovic had come to love about Wisconsin cheeses, she decided to bring them to Bethlehem.

Raskovic grew her small business from a passion project to a company that distributes over 4 tons of cheese annually, according to its website. Located in Bethlehem, Keystone Farms and Cheese makes local product delivery and ships its cheese to restaurants, wineries, businesses and festivals across the East Coast.

According to the company’s website, Keystone Farms Cheese is “female-founded and enthusiastically led.” As a women-owned and run business, Keystone Farms Cheese works with farms and factories across Wisconsin, partnering with renowned cheesemakers in the Southern and Northeastern parts of the state to provide high-quality products.

Keystone Farms Cheese guarantees its products are “made with 100% Wisconsin cow’s milk, and contain no preservatives, no artificial flavors or colors, and no added hormones,” according to its website. The company’s best sellers include a 7-Year Aged White Cheddar, Asiago with Rosemary, Bacon Cheddar, Blue Cheese Cheddar, and a variety of flavored cheese curds.

 

M.J. Reider Environmental Testing Laboratories

M.J. Reider Environmental Testing Laboratories offers testing services for drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, consumer products, sample collection, monitoring wells, quality site inspection and laboratory support services.

Founded by Dr. Malcolm J. Reider, M.J. Reider Environmental Testing Laboratories has been operating out of Reading since 1952. In 1983, Dr. M.J. Reider’s daughter Barbara Reider Coyle became President and Laboratory Director, scaling the company from eight employees to thirty and digitizing laboratory data management.

Reider Coyle held the title of laboratory director and president of the company from 1983 to 2023. According to the company’s website, “Barbara is always happy to make herself and her legacy knowledge available to all of our employees and customers.” M.J. Reider Environmental Testing Laboratories is 100% women-owned and family-owned. Presently, Reider Coyle serves as President Emeritus, Meghan Helinek serves as President, and Emily Coyle serves as Vice President.

 

McCall Collective Brewing Company

McCall Collective Brewing Company is female-owned, family-operated, and locally sourced. Founders Kaitlin and Chris McCall are passionate about beer and entertaining guests, which they aim to translate through their Allentown location, McCall’s on Susquehanna, and taphouse location in Breiningsville.

“We envisioned a brewery that felt like a gathering at your best friend’s house, where great drinks and food are enjoyed in a comfortable, homey environment,” the company’s website states. In Allentown, McCall’s on Susquehanna serves IPAs, lagers, stouts, sours and sessions, as well as a selection of local wine, cocktails, and food items.

As a female-owned company, Kaitlin McCall serves as CEO. According to her bio on the company’s website, McCall graduated from Penn State with a degree in Communications. After graduating, McCall gained experience in fundraising, marketing and sales. Now, she translates these experiences into her leadership at McCall Collective Brewing Company.

“I grew up 20 minutes south of the Lehigh Valley and am proud to call this area home, with its proximity to Philadelphia and New York City, the PPL Center, Coca-Cola Park, excellent restaurants, farms, breweries, and an unmatched sense of community,” McCall states on the company’s website.

 

MKSD Architects

Allentown-based MKSD Architects specializes in custom architecture and architectural design across educational, municipal, commercial and healthcare industries. The firm’s team of over 20 architects have worked on projects for the likes of Lehigh Valley Health Network, American Red Cross, Moravian College, Kutztown University, American University, the School District of Philadelphia, among others.

As a certified women-owned business, two of three partners are female, in addition to a female associate partner. Silvia Hoffman, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB is a founding partner at MKSD Architects, bringing over two decades of experience to the firm, with expertise in healthcare and higher education design, campus master planning, building and interior design, among other skills.

“Silvia is a fearless, forward thinking leader, with a consistently positive outlook,” Hoffman’s bio states on the company website. “She is focused on continuous improvement and growth for herself and our staff. She strives for innovative ways to move the firm forward through design.”

As partner, Jill Hewes, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB manages business operations within the MKSD office.

“Highly organized and efficient, Jill’s perseverance is crucial in coordinating and implementing action plans in collaboration with the firm’s partners,” Hewes’ bio states on the company website. “Jill also selflessly performs financial and human resources management tasks.” Hewes’ areas of expertise include higher education design, comprehensive planning, project scheduling, existing building renovations and modernization, among other skills.

According to the company’s website, Snell’s “passion is to help seniors and their families navigate through the healthcare system and provide them the resources that is needed.” In 2024, Snell was named one of Lehigh Valley Business’s Women of Influence Honorees.

“Being a woman-owned business means more than just a title or a statistic. It signifies the culmination of hard work, determination, and the breaking of barriers that were once seen as insurmountable,” Snell said. “I often face systemic obstacles that requires me to work twice as hard to earn the recognition and opportunities that come more readily to others. I must constantly advocate not only for my clients [and] patients but also myself, my business, and my right to take up space in industries that have been traditionally male-dominated.”

Snell recounts that, as a women-owned business, she has found opportunities to “inspire and uplift others,” acting as a mentor to the next generation of social workers, “showing them that their dreams are not only possible but attainable.”

Headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania, where the company was founded, Sweet Street states in its Social Impact Statement, “The greatest positive impact we can make as a corporate citizen is local.”

As a woman-owned business, Solmon aims to “ensure opportunities are available for all who strive to grow” and actively contributes to the well-being of both employees and the surrounding community, according to the company’s website. Solmon was named Industry Titan by the Women’s Foodservice Forum in 2019, leading the company to achieve accolades such as The National Restaurant Association Food and Beverage Award in 2017, 2018, and 2020. As stated in the company’s Social Impact Statement, Solmon also aims to be “an agent of change in making [its] food supply wholesome and transparent,” listing efforts to eliminate GMOs, use hormone-free dairies and remove artificial flavorings from baked goods.

Prior to the company’s acquisition, Angela Nolan amassed significant tenure within Vistacom, serving over 38 years in the company and holding titles as Chief Operating Officer before assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer.

“During my tenure, Vistacom grew from 12 people to more than 90 as our executive team strategically refocused the mission to delivering seamless technology integration services that provide the most value to clients, serving as their trusted technology partner,” Nolan stated on her LinkedIn profile.
