Interactive map of Lehigh Valley trails to help draw visitors to local businesses

THE LINK Trail Network has launched a new interactive map of Lehigh Valley trails on their website, THELINKTrails.com, which will help draw visitors to local businesses.

The new interactive trail map is mobile-friendly and allows Lehigh Valley residents and visitors to easily access a single online resource to explore numerous trails and trailheads across Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

The interactive map provides clickable information on all current multi-use trails in THE LINK Trail Network as well as some of the many future planned trails in the region. Users can view detailed trailhead information for each trail, including geographic coordinates, available activities, parking details, ADA accessibility status, bathroom locations, and other amenities.

“THE LINK provides a direct connection to local businesses along the trails, providing people with convenient access to restaurants, retail shops, attractions, and lodging. The new interactive map will be a valuable tool for trail users planning trip itineraries that include supporting trail-friendly businesses along the way,” said Claire Sadler, executive director at Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor and a partner of THE LINK Trails Coalition.

“THE LINK Trail Network’s new interactive map is part of THE LINK Trails Coalition’s continued efforts to provide helpful information to people of all ages and abilities and encourage them to use all of the beautiful trails that we have here in the Lehigh Valley. Our new interactive map is a valuable tool that all trail users can benefit from when planning their activities on the trail, including recreation, exercise, education, and alternative transportation,” Sadler said.
