Greenfield ensures that DeSales University students experience transformative learning in and beyond the classroom, stage and lab, where they can “be who they are and be that well.” His work involves overseeing the school’s academic, student life, athletic, arts, religious, spiritual, international, financial and facility programming. He has held his role since January 2018.
“A leadership value for me is to ensure that our campus is in sync with the heartbeat of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton,” he said. “A primary goal this past year was to introduce robust diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that reflect our Catholic and Salesian values.”
Greenfield enjoys the rhythm of campus life: classes, lectures, athletics, theater and walking and running on the Saucon Rail Trail. As a priest, he values presiding and preaching for student liturgies and at his local parish, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Bethlehem.
