Snowden joined Penn National Gaming in October 2011 as senior vice president of regional operations and was promoted to chief operating officer in January 2014. In March 2017, he was named president and chief operating officer. He took on his current role in January 2020.
Shortly after becoming president and CEO, Snowden acquired a minority interest in Barstool Sports. He envisions evolving Penn National from a retail casino operator into a leading omnichannel provider of retail and interactive gaming, sports betting and entertainment.
