Northampton County property records show River Run Apartments LP bought the property for $6.7 million from Sherwood Winding LLC.
The developer plans to rebrand it to River Run Apartments, open an on-site leasing office and offer on-site 24-hour maintenance support.
Physical improvements include installing entrances with security locks and new roofs, repaving and lining the parking lot, replacing the sidewalks and upgrading the landscaping.
Workers will install new flooring and lighting and paint hallways and units as they become available, while in-unit appliances will be upgraded in newly renovated units. Workers will build common laundry facilities in each of the six buildings and upgrade heating and air conditioning.
River Run Apartments consists of one- and two-bedroom apartments with rents between $776 and $971 per month, including water, sewer, gas, basic cable and trash pickup, as well as use of the on-site laundry.
