President and CEO
Associated Builders & Contractors, Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter
Perpiglia took office in January after being interim president since late 2015. “My primary duty is promoting free enterprise and merit-based construction practices in the industry,” he said. “Over the past few years, this role has moved into promoting workforce development and placing new opportunities to incoming construction professionals.”
Asked for an accomplishment that stands out, he said, “taking our organization in new directions by expanding our services into (the) Lehigh Valley, Northeast Pennsylvania and Philadelphia.”
Perpiglia emphasized the following life lessons: “1. Know how to be comfortable with expanding your comfort level. 2. What worked yesterday may not work tomorrow.”
In his spare time, he said he likes to play and write music; Perpiglia also enjoys restoring his home and a classic car he bought in 2018.
