Joseph Bubba is one of the founding members of the law firm Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba PC.
“After 30 years of management, I am transitioning the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of running FLB,” he said. “As a managing partner, I endeavored to take a step back and make objective, fiduciary-like decisions based upon the ‘good of the firm.’ I am a strong believer in ensuring you are always present and part of the ‘fabric’ of your organization. I think that when your co-workers see how invested you are, it engenders a certain level of loyalty and security.”
Unsure what he wanted to do as an undergraduate, Bubba said he started as a pre-med major who ended up taking the LSATs. What followed was the next logical step – law school “and, frankly, it is now hard for me to imagine any other career route.”
In his free time, “I enjoy all sports, but at this point in my life, golf is my competitive passion,” he said. “I am a ‘foodie,’ which gives me the chance to spend time with my friends and family.”
