“As a member of the executive committee, I manage the personnel, financial, operations, facilities and marketing arms of the firm,” said Kristine Roddick, a partner in KingSpry. “As an attorney, I represent school clients in various legal matters.”

Roddick is a former managing partner of KingSpry, where her role was broader, encompassing the overall health and strategy of the firm. “In my newly appointed role as chair of our Education Law Practice, my leadership responsibilities have shifted to a more granular level,” she explained. “Now I not only oversee the development of professional skills of our next generation of education attorneys, but I am also responsible for developing and nurturing important client relationships that generate a significant percentage of our firm’s business.” It’s always a challenge to transition from one role to another, “but my strengths are strategy and execution, so I am very much enjoying this new targeted application of my talents and skills. The added bonus is I work with a team of professionals who are extremely dedicated, which inspires me to do my best for them as much as we strive to do our best for our clients.”
