Landlords get a new option to promote housing for Lehigh students

Brian Pedersen//March 17, 2014

Lehigh University partnered with Places4Students.com, a company specializing in providing academic institutions with off-campus housing solutions. Places4Students.com has replaced the university`s previous housing service and provides a website with many new features and offerings for students and landlords.
“It really helps us to be the conduit for students and property manager and landlords,” said Darren Vanecko, president and owner of Places4Students.com, based in Niagara Falls, N.Y. “We keep a very organized database for the university.”
Vanecko said this morning that Lehigh University was interested in having an off-campus housing option available for students that gives property managers and landlords 24-7 access.
The website allows managers and landlords to post images and links to properties, as well as maps that show distances from properties to the university.
All student services are free, including rental property searches, student sublet postings and roommate profile listings. Students can view up-to-date rental property listings and search online for roommates.
Students can filter listings by newly posted, rental rate, type of accommodation, lease period, occupancy date and preferred features.
