Law firm expands its reach with new Schuylkill County office

Barley Snyder, a law firm based in Lancaster, said it would open a new office in Schuylkill Haven, Schuylkill County.

With an opening planned for early October, the firm said its two newest attorneys, partner David Rattigan and associate Michael Fox, will work out of the office full time.

Rattigan joined the firm on Sept. 3 and Fox joined Aug. 1.

The new office is at 950 E. Main St. in the Miller Bros. Construction complex.

In a statement, managing partner, Jeff Lobach, said the move would provide growth for the firm.

“It’s a natural extension of our regional model, and it moves us into a market similar to the ones where we’ve already proven to be successful,” Lobach said. “We found the market hasn’t currently offered the full array of services our firm can provide. That will allow for substantial growth for our firm in the region and throughout our footprint.”

The move would push the firm’s footprint into Schuylkill County for the first time in the firm’s history. Schuylkill County will be its fourth new market since 2017. This will be the firm’s 10^th office.
