Listen to this articleFor the past seven years H.T. Lyon’s has hosted the Joe Sommer Memorial Golf Tournament to help raise money for the Lehigh Valley community.
Joe Summer was a valued employee of H.T. Lyons who touched the hearts of everyone he encountered. He loved to give back to the youth in the Lehigh Valley, the community, and those interested in the trades.
Each year, thousands of dollars are raised by the Golf Tournament and are donated to various community organizations including the Northampton Fire Department, Friends of Bethlehem Mounted Police, Northampton Area Food Bank, Northampton Police Equipment Fund, The Boys and Girls Club of Bethlehem, Canine Search and Rescue, Beat the Streets/Concrete Barbell, Blue Star Mothers, Camp Freedom, Kids Peace Peaceable Kingdom and many others.
H.T. Lyons Mechanical Contractors & Engineers and The Joe Sommer Memorial Golf Tournament are thrilled to be supporting the Lehigh Valley Chapter of Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers Scholarship Fund and look forward to a successful association with the Lehigh Valley Engineers Council.
This year’s fund-raising golf tournament will be held on September 22.
