Lost Tavern Brewing honors St. Luke’s with IPA release

Lost Tavern Brewing‘s 1872 New England-style IPA is available again.
Lost Tavern Brewing of Hellertown said it released the special beer Thursday to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of St. Luke’s University Health Network.
“St. Luke’s continues to be a close partner and provider to the Lehigh Valley community. Lost Tavern has been blessed to tag team a tribute beer to celebrate St. Luke’s 150-year anniversary and hopes to celebrate this hard-earned accomplishment by re-brewing up until, and long after, their next celebrated milestone,” said Kenny Rampolla, CEO of Lost Tavern Brewing.
This refreshing, citrus-forward IPA features Citra and Mosaic hops that push the flavors and aromas of bright, fresh-pressed orange juice, Lost Tavern Brewing said. The hop notes are complemented by a subtle addition of grapefruit puree, adding a pithy-yet-mild bitterness for a smooth drinking IPA. This is the third year for the offering.
“We can’t express our appreciation enough for the opportunity to honor one of the many excellent health care providers involved with providing decades of quality health care to our community,” Rampolla said. “This is just the beginning, and we are ecstatic that this partnership will continue to flourish beyond 1872!”
The St. Luke’s-themed IPA is available at both Lost Tavern taprooms: 782 Main St., Hellertown, and 444 Main St. Bethlehem.
