Suzanne Ott

Organization
The High Center Lehigh Valley
Title
Managing Director

Suzanne Ott runs the Lehigh Valley arm of The High Center, the Elizabethtown College institution that has served family-owned and privately held businesses since 1995. As managing director, she facilitates executive peer groups, organizes best practice education and connects member companies to leadership development and legacy planning.

The work centers on succession planning — and not only the multigenerational kind.

Ott points to role-based succession as the more pressing question, the kind that keeps a business running when any key seat turns over, framing it as central to continuity and long-term growth.

She describes her approach as steward leadership, built on empowering the people around her, and measures the job in individual terms: each person helped, professionally or personally, counts as the result.
