Dan Gensemer is a founding partner of Element Environmental Solutions, the Adamstown environmental and engineering consulting firm, where he holds responsibility for the company’s growth and the direction of its services.

He has worked more than 25 years in environmental health, with a specialization in indoor air quality and hazardous materials consulting.

His project record includes developing asbestos abatement strategies, managing hazardous materials and overseeing remediation work.

The firm, founded in 2012, provides remediation support, environmental health and safety services, indoor air quality consulting and laboratory analysis.

Rio Harrison owns Lehigh Solar LLC, an Allentown-based solar energy company that, by its own account, serves residential and commercial customers across the Lehigh Valley.

The company offers solar panel installation, system maintenance and consultations, and runs free informational events for businesses, homeowners associations, school districts and houses of worship.

Its website describes a referral model in which the company evaluates a customer’s needs and pairs them with qualified solar installers.

Eduardo Menezes runs Air Products, the Lehigh Valley industrial gases company, as the executive an activist investor installed to reverse course.

The board named him CEO on Feb. 4, 2025, effective Feb. 7, succeeding Seifi Ghasemi after Mantle Ridge’s proxy campaign unseated three company-backed directors.

Menezes brought more than three decades in industrial gases at Praxair and Linde, most recently running Linde’s Europe, Middle East and Africa operations.

He has steered the roughly $12 billion company “back to basics,” exiting and writing down clean-energy projects and pushing the $4.5 billion Louisiana blue-hydrogen complex to 2028 or 2029.

“Air Products is a fantastic company with a great future,” he said in a company statement on his appointment.

John Palamara runs the LNG business Honeywell assembled after its $1.81 billion purchase of Air Products’ liquefied natural gas unit in 2024, an operation now anchored in a new Allentown office at 6575 Snowdrift Road.

The acquisition brought roughly 100 engineers and technology professionals into Honeywell, talent Palamara wants kept local.

“The talent that we have here is huge,” he said in a previous LVB profile. “These are highly skilled people we have been able to attract or retain in Allentown.”

Honeywell pretreats about 40% of the world’s LNG and supplies liquefaction technology for roughly two-thirds of global capacity. In January, the unit agreed to supply Commonwealth LNG’s planned Louisiana export terminal, a projected 9.5 million-tonne-per-year facility using six modular heat exchangers.

“Honeywell’s end-to-end LNG solutions and modular delivery model options can help customers reduce construction timelines, increase speed to market and ultimately enhance the return on their investment,” Palamara said in a company statement.

Vincent Sorgi is president and CEO of PPL Corporation in Allentown, where he has worked in the utility industry for more than 30 years.

Sorgi oversees PPL’s electric and gas utilities, serving 3.6 million customers across Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Rhode Island and Virginia. He led the company’s strategic transformation toward the digital utilities of the future — anchored by the 2021 sale of PPL’s U.K. subsidiary, the 2022 acquisition of its Rhode Island utility and continued investment in grid modernization, artificial intelligence and renewable generation.

“The energy industry is at an inflection point, shaped by electrification, rapid large-load growth and more frequent severe weather,” Sorgi said.

With accelerating demand and system resilience at stake, he remains focused on long-term reliability and affordability.

“We are turning today’s challenges into opportunities,” he said.
