Jaindl oversees a portfolio of family-owned and family-controlled companies based in the Lehigh Valley, including The Waterfront Development Co., American Bank, Vault 634 LLC, Jaindl Properties LLC and SteelRock Property Management LLC.
He has been president/CEO of Waterfront Development, Jaindl Enterprises and Jaindl Properties since their founding in 2011, and president/CEO of American Bank Inc. and American Bank from the beginning, in 1997.
Jaindl is proud of repurposing a 29-acre site in Allentown, previously the site of Lehigh Structural Steel, into a mixed-use complex of offices, retail space and apartments. “In addition, we were able to purchase 3.5 miles of underutilized railroad that has provided the foundation for the development of Riverside Drive and the link to the D&L Trail, which will be a part of the 9/11 Memorial Trail.”
Giving back is a priority. “I learned from a very young age that supporting my community and those who need help is not only important to those receiving assistance, but also in creating a sense of purpose and accomplishment,” Jaindl explained. “There is no better feeling than the positive emotions one feels inside when giving back and helping others.”
Away from work, he said he enjoys spending time with family and visiting them in Newport, Rhode Island, “strolling along Cliff Walk with my dogs and hearing the sound of the ocean.” Jaindl also likes the occasional round of golf.
