A Mexican restaurant is one of several tenants headed to a vacant property that’s being redeveloped by the buyer of a dormant Upper Bucks entertainment venue.
Albeth Realty LLC of Whitehall, which is affiliated with Pennsylvania Venture Capital LLC, is remodeling the former Montana West at 1030 N. West End Blvd. off southbound Route 309 in Richland Township.
Mickey Thompson, chief operating officer for Pennsylvania Venture Capital LLC, recently executed a lease with a restaurant operator from Doylestown for authentic Mexican cuisine. He said the tenant, which he declined to name, would keep the Doylestown location but is still determining the name for the new site.
The property has an additional 3,000 square feet of restaurant space on the upper level and 2,000 square feet of restaurant space on the lower level that are available, as well as two retail pad spaces on the property for sale or for lease, Thompson said.
The property has generated interest from potential tenants, he said, noting that it has a great location.
“We are hoping that once we have a tenant in place, that others will follow,” Thompson said. “The asset needs a little TLC. We take assets that are underutilized and underappreciated and return them back to the tax rolls.”
The property was once known as Montana West, a popular site for entertainment that occupies more than 16 acres. The building is slightly more than 17,600 square feet.
