Microscopy distribution and service center leases space in Bethlehem industrial park

A Massachusetts firm is partnering with J. G. Petrucci Co. Inc., to build a microscopy distribution and service center in Bethlehem.  

Evident, a wholly owned subsidiary of Olympus Corp. of Center Valley and a designer and manufacturer of life science and industrial solutions, leased space from J.G. Petrucci, a full-service design/build specialist and developer, in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII. 

“To continue to provide high-quality support to our customers, it was imperative that the new space for our microscopy distribution and service center meet certain key criteria.,” said Arnold Huang, president of Americas Sales and Marketing at Evident. 

The location was chosen for its accessibility to major international airports and its proximity to Evident’s Lehigh Valley distribution center, he said. 

“Equally important was a collaborative landlord that would work with us to develop the space for our unique business needs.” Huang said. “They have been highly collaborative in their approach and offered Evident excellent space in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII that delivered on our business requirements.”

Iron Hill Construction Management, part of the Petrucci network, will complete the work to customize the space for Evident. The microscope repair facility is expected to open this summer with approximately 30 employees and will serve as Evident’s primary distribution and repair hub for microscopes in the Americas.
