Accounting Spring Township, Berks County-based Herbein + Co. Inc. named Rachel Bashore director of operations and strategic initiatives. Bashore, an attorney who will also be in-house legal counsel, will help drive the firm’s strategic direction by leading operational efficiency initiatives and streamlining business processes. Insurance Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau named Jesse Marass director of actuarial services. Marass will ensure that processes for developing workers’ compensation loss costs are operating smoothly and data is maintained according to actuarial standards and principles. Marass also passed the necessary exams to become an associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
Law
Bethlehem, Northampton County-based King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul LLC named attorney Jennifer Bolivar an associate. Bolivar, whose native language is Spanish, will focus her practice in litigation, business, real estate, affordable housing and estate law.
Upper Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County-based Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin named attorney William G. Roark managing partner. Roark advises manufacturers, owners and operators on compliance, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory issues and is an adjunct professor teaching cannabis law and regulation at Villanova University Law School. The previous managing partner, Steven H. Lupin, will continue his litigation practice at the firm.

Garofalo also will communicate with volunteers, trainees, visitors and other Lehigh Valley agencies, ensure accurate recordkeeping and maintain grant standards.
