Bradshaw led the Steelers to four Super Bowl wins over six seasons and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Bradshaw, a longtime television sports analyst, is a motivational speaker and will talk about his strategies for achieving success.
Randy Peers, president and CEO of GRCA, said Bradshaw’s career continues to defy an easy category.
“His drive, dedication and success are typified not just by his long list of wins and awards on and off the field, but by his drive, dedication and leadership – qualities the business community knows are important to success in any field,” Peers said.
The GRCA’s annual event is held at the Santander Arena in downtown Reading and draws nearly 1,000 people from the region’s business community.
The chamber will present its annual top business awards, including those for entrepreneurial excellence.
The winner of the second annual Albert Boscov Economic Development Award also will be announced. East Penn Manufacturing, headquartered in Lyons, was the recipient last year.
Astronaut Scott Kelly was the keynote speaker last year.
The annual dinner will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. May 31.
A limited number of tickets are available to the general public. Individual tickets cost $150 and are available at www.greaterreadingchamber.org.
This year’s event is sponsored by Wells Fargo.
