Innovative Office Products LLC, a Forks Township-based manufacturer, said it signed a lease for warehouse and distribution space in Lower Nazareth Township.
The company makes computer monitor arms, tablet mounts, point-of-sale systems and other products at its nearby Forks Township site. It will occupy more than 21,000 square feet at 4779 Hanoverville Road and use the site for warehouse and distribution, according to a news release.
Frank T. Smith, principal of NAI Summit in South Whitehall Township, represented The Wasserstrom Co., a restaurant supplier based in Ohio, in a sublease for the space. Mike Adams, senior vice president of NAI Summit, represented Innovative Office Products in the multiyear transaction.
Innovative Office Products also has additional locations in Europe and Australia.
Shane Gross, human resources manager at Innovative Office Products, said the company is ready to occupy the Lower Nazareth space but still is going through the process of obtaining permits. The company should have employees in the building by the end of September, he added.
Gross said the company has been at its Forks Township site for more than 15 years and is running out of space, prompting the need for another location.
“We have no space, it’s crowded here,” Gross said. “We’ve had significant growth over the last few years and we’ve added products. The root cause is just the growth of our business.”
The company has 150 full-time employees and 30 temporary workers. It will continue producing at the Forks location but move shipping to the Hanoverville Road site once its operational, he added.
