Two hardscapes manufacturers in the region are joining forces.
Oldcastle APG, which has operations in Easton, has acquired EP Henry, a privately owned manufacturer of hardscape and masonry products that has seven manufacturing and distribution facilities across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and Maryland.
It manufactures pavers, segmental retaining walls, masonry block and wet-cast products for the building materials market in the region.
Tim Ortman, president of Oldcastle APG, said EP Henry aligns with Oldcastle APG’s existing portfolio and will fortify its manufacturing and distribution capabilities.
“I am thrilled to welcome J.C. Henry and the entire EP Henry team to Oldcastle APG,” Ortman said, referring to EP Henry’s president and CEO. “Across four generations, EP Henry has stood the test of time as a thought leader in the hardscapes and masonry industries, bringing families together through best-in-class outdoor living spaces. I look forward to working with the EP Henry team to ensure a seamless transition for the customers we serve.”
The acquisition was finalized Monday and follows several recent strategic hardscapes acquisitions by Oldcastle APG, including Allied Concrete Products and Abbotsford.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Oldcastle APG has locations in 29 countries. It is the largest building materials business in North America and in Europe.
EP Henry is headquartered in Woodbury, New Jersey.
