Peoples Security Bank & Trust, Cedar Crest College and more name new hires, promotions

Banking and finance

Scranton, Lackawanna County-based Peoples Security Bank & Trust named Brian Cook Lehigh Valley market president. Cook will oversee banking and lending, develop relationships with customers and businesses, and mentor local staff.

Stroudsburg, Monroe County-based ESSA Bank & Trust named Nicole Gailliard community development officer. Gailliard will develop and implement strategies for increasing ESSA’s commitment to minority-majority and low-to-moderate income communities, including building strategic relationships, providing data-driven market intelligence, building brand awareness with a focus on financial education, and home ownership.

Education

Allentown, Lehigh County-based Cedar Crest College named Leon St. John Jr. chief diversity officer. St. John will continue to cultivate an environment in which all members the college’s community feel valued and supported.

Reading, Berks County-based Alvernia University named Ginger Kunkel a trustee. Kunkel is president of the Pennsylvania market for Ithaca, New York-based Tompkins Community Bank and has been employed in financial services for 32 years.

Law

Bethlehem, Northampton County-based King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul LLC named Sarah Modrick an attorney. Modrick will focus her practice in employment, labor and education law.

Marketing

Allentown, Lehigh County-based Keenan-Nagle Advertising named Amelia Harrington creative director. Harrington will support the agency’s creative service offerings in branding strategy, digital design, cross-platform web and social media production, photography and video editing.

Nonprofits

Bethlehem, Northampton County-based Via of the Lehigh Valley Inc. named Lauren Goldberg program manager for Via’s adult training services. Goldberg will oversee the operations of two adult training service sites.
