Hof joined Hof & Reid in 1988, eight years after becoming a practicing attorney. “As a personal injury lawyer, I assume the trust of the injured to explain their rights, empower them to feel they are on an even footing in getting a just resolution, either through negotiation or in court, and to remember that my agenda is only what is best for them,” Hof said.
In one case, he represented a young child’s family who had been denied health insurance coverage for cochlear implant surgery. After an insurer was compelled to pay for the operation, the child embarked upon a career as a successful performance musician, he said.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to provide counsel for thousands of clients, support causes close to my heart with pro bono work,” and give back to the Lehigh Valley community by serving on a variety of nonprofit boards.
Outside of work, Hof said, he is an avid runner and enjoys time with his wife, son, two daughters, six grandchildren and two golden retrievers.
