Business customers will see their price to compare go up if they buy their electricity from PPL Electric Utilities in Allentown.
The price will go down, however, for residential customers.
Beginning Dec. 1, PPL’s price to compare for small-business owners will be 7.701 cents per kilowatt-hour. That’s up from 7.49 cents during the last six-month period.
That’s slightly more than $2 per month for a customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month.
For homeowners, the price will be 7.463 cents per kilowatt-hour. That’s about one cent less than the current 8.493 cents.
