“We have been doing a decent amount of lending in the Lehigh Valley,” Freeman said. “We like the number of businesses that are in the area. Everything about the market appealed to us.”
Lafayette Ambassador Bank formerly occupied the space, which is more than 2,000 square feet, he said.
The Allentown location will have two full-time business lenders to be able to call on customers in the area. In addition, it would have a branch manager and three universal bankers.
QNB’s other Lehigh Valley locations are Coopersburg and Wescosville, he said.
QNB Bank has $1.2 billion in assets, Freeman said.
